PortoRiko stands on the waterfront at Krnički porat, the small fishing harbor below Krnica. Its family history begins in 1968, when the restaurant opened as K ribaru. The name changed in 2016 to honor Riko, the proprietor's father. Fishing remains central to the setting: the quay is where local fishermen bring in fish and Kvarner scampi, and the restaurant looks directly toward the sea. A large parking area is also located on the waterfront. The kitchen concentrates on straightforward seafood dishes, with a menu that allows guests to build a meal around fish, shellfish or pasta.
