Franky's Wasserbahnhof Mintard combines a restaurant, served terrace and self-service beer garden directly beside the Ruhr. These are different ways to visit the same riverside address: choose an à la carte table for a full meal, or use the grill and container service for a more informal stop outdoors. A large riverside lawn adds space to the setting, and children have a pirate-ship play feature. The kitchen uses seasonal ingredients and works with selected regional suppliers. Its published menu moves between local dishes and broader influences, from Rhineland potato soup and schnitzel made with Ruhrtaler pork to trout, prawn pasta and curry.
