Le Channel is the Crespo family's restaurant on boulevard de la Résistance in Calais Nord, opposite the marina and close to Place d'Armes. It is a separate address from the cultural venue that shares its name elsewhere in the city. Here, the family brings together French cooking and an extensive interest in wine, with the dining room designed to make both part of the experience. José, Monique, Arnaud and Jérôme Crespo are named in the house's account of its family tradition. The brothers' kitchen experience includes work at the Montalembert and with Joël Robuchon, and the restaurant describes its cooking as a meeting of classical foundations and new ideas.
