Annie's Leckerei

Annie's Leckerei is the breakfast and small dining venue in Haus Waldliebe, one of the two houses that make up Annie's Bergwelt in Bodenmais. Visitors do not have to stay overnight to eat here: the house explicitly welcomes outside guests as well as people staying in its rooms and apartments. The emphasis is on freshly prepared individual breakfasts and homemade dishes ordered from an à la carte selection, with Kaiserschmarrn among the sweet specialties. The dining room offers a comfortable indoor setting, and the tourism office also describes a sunny terrace and a walking path passing directly beside the house. Breakfast choices range from bread with jam, cheese and cold cuts to filled croissants, eggs prepared in different ways and soy yogurt with fruit. More elaborate sweet options include a pancake and mascarpone tower with strawberries or pistachios, giving the menu a playful side alongside the familiar breakfast staples. Coffee, refreshing drinks and a Spritz make it suitable for a pause during a walk as well as a meal planned around breakfast. The business is the project of Anna Meyer and her business partner, who took the step into running their own hospitality venture in their home region in 2024. Their approach places personal contact and a familiar atmosphere at the centre of the experience. For guests staying in the apartments, the same operation also prepares breakfast boxes and offers fresh rolls, linking the public dining room with everyday life in the accommodation.
