When is the best time to visit Romania?
It depends on your plans. Late spring through early autumn (May to September) suits city breaks, Carpathian hiking and the Bucovina monasteries, while July and August are peak season for the Black Sea beaches around Mamaia. For skiing in Poiana Brasov and the mountains, aim for the winter months roughly December to March.
