L'Androuno

L'Androuno is a small restaurant on Rue des Endronnes in central Draguignan, where Frédéric Chenillot's cooking combines French traditions with seasonal ideas. Caroline Di Lena looks after reservations and the welcome, while Frédéric works in the kitchen. The couple have managed the restaurant together since June 2014, giving the place a personal character shaped by their complementary roles. The dining room accommodates around fifteen guests. Outside, a terrace provides another setting for a meal and can become a pergola in colder weather. This modest scale is part of the restaurant's appeal: it offers a relatively intimate place to eat within the town centre, with space for both individual tables and organised gatherings. Fresh produce guides the kitchen, and the main menu changes approximately every three months. A separate daily selection allows the chef to respond more frequently to available ingredients. His approach draws on regional French cooking while leaving room for new combinations and adaptations. One example highlighted by the house is creamy lemon risotto with prawns, presented in different variations. Guests can choose from the available menus or order individual dishes. Takeaway meals can be arranged by reservation, and the restaurant also offers catering. For a family celebration, a meeting or a private gathering, the dining spaces can be booked with a menu discussed in advance. Reservation requests are available online, allowing visitors to contact the team before planning a meal or an occasion.
