Uerige combines a working house brewery with a collection of dining rooms on Berger Straße in Düsseldorf's old town. The beer is accompanied by traditional food, from freshly prepared meatballs and rolls topped with seasoned minced pork to crisp pork knuckles and the house version of currywurst. Seasonal hot dishes complement the regular selection, with kale and smoked sausage among the colder weather examples. Pea soup is another house specialty, while the broader selection includes lentil soup, potato soup, goulash and stuffed cabbage. The food gives a visit several possible scales, from a small bite alongside a glass of beer to a more substantial meal. The rooms are as much part of Uerige's character as the kitchen. Copper brewing kettles shape the atmosphere of the Brauhaus hall, while the Rittersaal pairs historic furnishings with beer mugs collected across three centuries. Its own counter, cloakroom and fireplace make it a distinct setting for a private gathering. The Hans Müller-Schlösser room remembers the Düsseldorf writer through bronze heads, colored glass, caricatures and old photographs. In the Handwerkerstube, carved guild symbols and local figures provide another connection to the city's past. Guests can also spend time outdoors rather than choosing an interior room. Tables and rooms can be requested for family occasions or business gatherings, and larger parties have separate menu and buffet options. Brewery tours introduce the ingredients and production process and can finish with a meal at a reserved table.
