Due to the building’s original design, some doorways are lower than is standard today. Note for families with young children: Babies and toddlers are very welcome. However, no baby or toddler equipment (e.g. cot, changing facilities) is provided. You must bring any necessary equipment with you. Furthermore, the staircase does not have a safety gate for small children. Enjoying the outdoors: The terrace and the view of the countryside are perfect for breakfast, relaxing or a cosy barbecue evening. Nature & places to visit: Halenbach is situated in the Southern Eifel, surrounded by woods, rolling hills and numerous walking and cycling trails. This makes the Eifel Refugium an ideal base for exploring the Eifel and the ‘Dreiländereck’ – whilst also being a place where you can simply do nothing for a change. 🌿
